Things are still going pretty well I must report. Other than the fact that I found out today that there is a 30 year class reunion at the same place where my reception is, things are good. I have to admit I am livid about it. I do understand my wedding isn't the only thing that should be going on in this world on that day, however, this golf course is not huge and really shouldn't have "double booked" that day. Also what I must make very clear is that they did not get my final head count until tonight and had all 375 people responded with a Yes, we would have needed the additional space. The only thing that separates the main room (where we will be) and the room where the reunion will take place is a thick plastic accordion wall. Sounds nice huh?! It is also my understanding that they are having a band which makes matters even worse b/c I feel like it will be battle of the bands to see who is louder. This should be interesting. Nothing I can do about it but move on from that ridiculousness. I know the economy is bad but jeesh no need to get so greedy and totally book up every possible space that they have!
I'm headed to Danville tomorrow. I'm spending my morning at the spa getting all pampered up like a bride should! After that I'll get the final necessary things all loaded up and hit the road.
This being one of them:
My house is a crazy mess with piles and boxes and stuff laying everywhere. The bridal store told me to hang my dress high so on the curtain rod it went. It's covered so the fiance can't see it! :) Boy is he curious though! And, I'm sure you are too...in due time my friends.
the front entry way piled high! love our new luggage!
Just in case I ever miss these piles of boxes in my house I thought I'd take a picture to remember! I've been walking around, tripping over, and working around these clutter for several weeks now. I'm so going to be happy to have it gone!
piles-everywhere we turn
